Choosing a Complete Skateboard

If you are new to skating and don't want to build a complete board yourself, look for our completes. We offer complete boards that utilize the same components we sell individually on this site. With over 20 years of experience we know how to build you the best skateboard and we carry all the major brands in stock in order to get your complete board to you in the shortest amount of time. Building a Custom Complete Skateboard

Ok....so if you are now reading this, you must be thinking you want to build your own board. What is involved in building a skateboard? Well here you go. Below is everything you will need to make that custom board you ever wanted.

Length - The length of the board is measured from one tip to the other.
Width - The width of the board is measured at the center of the board from one side to the other. Bigger riders and those doing vert typically prefer a wider deck.
Wheelbase - The distance from one pair of inner mounting holes to the other inner pair.
Mounting Holes - These holes have already been drilled in the board. There are 8 holes total; 4 for the front truck and 4 for the rear.


What skateboard deck width is right for me?

Micro
Deck width: 6.5" to 6.75”
Deck length: 27.2” to 27.6”
Typically for skaters 5 years or younger or under 3'4”

Mini
Deck width: 7.0"
Deck length: 28”
Typically for skaters 6 to 8 years old or between 3'5” and 4'4” tall

Mid-size
Deck width: 7.3”
Deck length: 29”
Typically for skaters 9 to 12 years old or between 4'5” and 5'2” tall
